Met Gala 2024 Red Carpet Looks: See Every Celebrity Outfit and Dress

It’s the biggest night in fashion! The 2024 Met Gala red carpet has officially kicked off at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This year’s exhibition, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” examines how technology can breathe new life into clothing too old and fragile to be worn again.

Tonight, guests will climb the museum’s famous steps wearing outfits that nod to the event’s “Le Jardin du Temps” dress code, and you can see all the looks from the 2024 Met Gala right here as we go on the night unfolds. The evening’s clothing theme takes its name from a story by JG Ballard about an earl who, to fend off an angry mob approaching his castle, cuts a rose from his garden to slow down time until it no longer no more flowers left. With the story’s dystopian undertones and the exhibit’s focus on the old and the new, we can expect a red carpet filled with everything from flowers to techno-inspired fashion — and maybe even be a The Sleeping Beauty reference or two.

The gala, which raises money for the Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute, is known for having a top-secret guest list. But even though the names of the attendees are being kept under wraps, we do know a few people who will be gracing the carpet in their garden party finest: Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth, Jennifer Lopez and Zendaya, who serve as co-chairs alongside VogueIt’s Anna Wintour. The rest of the esteemed participants, which include the world’s best singers, actors, models, athletes and entertainers, will be revealed in due course.

Below, see all the looks from the 2024 Met Gala red carpet and check back throughout the night for updates, or follow us in real time on our live stream or live blog.
