Apple is finally rolling out AirPlay in hotel rooms

Apple first announced the ability to use AirPlay in hotels with LG TVs at its Worldwide Developers Conference in 2023. The feature lets you stream shows, movies, and music from your phone to the TV in your hotel, as well as view photos or play games from a TV. larger screen.

Although Apple previously announced that AirPlay in hotels would arrive by the end of 2023, it ultimately pushed its launch back to this year. The feature finally appeared with the release of iOS 17.3 earlier this year.

Currently, AirPlay is only supported at select IHG hotels, such as Holiday Inn, Candlewood Suites, and Avid Hotels, in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
