Jocelyn Wildenstein Shares a Photo Before Her Cosmetic Transformation

Christina Applegate Reveals the ‘Only Plastic Surgery’ She’s Had

Jocelyne Wildenstein shares a breath of the past.

The Swiss socialite, known for her iconic feline look enhanced with makeup, recently celebrated her daughter Diane Wildensteinbirthday with a retrospective, pre-operative photo.

Alongside a photo of herself and Diane as a baby, Jocelyn wrote in an August 25 Instagram post: “Happy birthday to my beautiful daughter.”

In the photo, Jocelyn, 82, is wearing full makeup but has clearly had far less cosmetic touch-ups, with wide eyes and a more sculpted face. Her daughter, now in her 40s, sits on her lap as they both smile as they look at something beyond the camera lens.

The socialite rose to fame following her 1997 divorce from the billionaire art dealer Alec Wildenstein—with whom she shared Diane and her son Alec Jr. At the time, Jocelyn had also attracted tabloid attention for her cosmetic enhancements, often referred to as “Catwoman” and “The Bride of Wildenstein.”

Even her ex-husband, who underwent her first cosmetic procedure with her, a facelift for both of them in 1979, considered Jocelyn’s fixation on plastic surgery excessive. Vanity Fair in 1998, “She was crazy.”
