JB Pritzker’s Abortion Gambling

The Governor of Illinois JB Pritzker plans to expand its influence beyond Lincoln Country by launching a new nonprofit called Think Big America, which intends to support abortion referendums in other states. That’s pretty cheeky coming from a guy who signed a ban on out-of-state money in Illinois judicial elections.

Two years ago, Mr. Pritzker signed a law to prevent Illinois judicial campaigns from accepting contributions from people in other states. Last May, it was declared unconstitutional by a federal judge, but by then the law had already achieved its short-term goal: helping liberal judges in their 2022 elections. Mr. Pritzker and the attorney general from Illinois Kwame Raoul did not appeal.
