Gayle King shoots her shot with Lenny Kravitz

Everyone is wondering if Lenny Kravitz is single, and Gayle King is no exception.

THE CBS Mornings the co-host reflected on the singer’s love life in an interview on Thursday.

Kravitz, 59, had a diplomatic response: “Right now, I’m just open.”

“Are you even watching?” King continued.

“It’s hard not to watch,” Kravitz responded. “You know, when you want something, you look for it, right? But I find when you don’t look, that’s when you find it. And I’m at a place where, I say for several years, “I’m ready, I’m ready, I’m ready” – I wasn’t ready, I thought I was ready, but I can say I’ve never felt what I feel. NOW.

King, 69, paid the singer another sweet compliment before the segment concluded: “I’ll just say this about you: You always seem very comfortable in your own skin.”

Clearly, King, 69, thinks highly of the “Fly Away” musician.

“When Lenny Kravitz walks into a room, you’re the epitome of cool, you’re the epitome of sexy,” she said at the start of the interview. “And I wonder if you’re aware of the effect you have on people, or if it’s something you need to work on?”

Kravitz responded while maintaining a sense of mystique and humility.

“I don’t work on it at all and I don’t think about it,” he said. “But I’m aware of people’s reactions.”

The rocker also sent positive energy in King’s direction. After telling her, “I feel so happy to be on the planet,” Kravitz warmly added, “Healthy and beautiful.”

Elsewhere in the segment, the singer explained how his daughter Zoë Kravitz helped him combat his people-pleasing tendencies.

“It’s something I trained in and grew up in, where ‘No’ is sometimes necessary,” he said. “And that’s something I learned from my daughter. She is so good at creating her boundaries. And boundaries are healthy, but this generation doesn’t have time to play. »
