FTX sues Sam Bankman-Fried’s parents to recover ‘misappropriated funds’


FTX sued the parents of founder Sam Bankman-Fried to recover millions of dollars in “fraudulently transferred and misappropriated funds,” the company said in a court filing Monday evening.

Joseph Bankman and Barbara Fried, both professors at Stanford Law School, “exploited their access and influence within the FTX company to enrich themselves,” claimed the company, operated in bankruptcy by the new management .
