Tiger Woods made history Friday afternoon at Augusta National.

Woods, who posted a par-72 in his second round, will safely qualify for the Masters. This is his 24th consecutive appearance at the major championship, which is an all-time record. This officially broke the tie with Gary Player and Fred Couples.

Woods will enter the weekend at 1 over par, which is still significantly behind Scottie Scheffler and Bryson DeChambeau, who entered the day in the lead. DeChambeau made a bogey at the 18th on Friday to fall to 6 under for the week, one shot behind Scheffler in the lead.
