Zuckerberg Trolls Musk About “Cage Fighting” — RT Games & Culture

Mark Zuckerberg has said he is ready to fight Elon Musk, but doubts that his tech billionaire rival will go all the way.
“I’m ready today” the Meta boss posted on his social media platform Threads on Sunday: “but I’m not holding my breath, “ adding that the proposed date, August 26, was never confirmed.
The remarks follow a tweet from the owner of X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday morning, announcing that he was training for the fight. “I lift weights throughout the day and prepare for the fight” Elon Musk wrote.
In a tweet later the same day, the tycoon, who also owns Tesla and SpaceX, claimed that “The Zuck vs. Musk fight will be broadcast live on X and all proceeds will be donated to veterans’ charities.” Zuckerberg was skeptical of this idea, suggesting “a more reliable platform that can actually raise funds.”
The much awaited “cage match” was first suggested in June, as Musk and Zuckerberg exchanged barbs on social media, over the Facebook founder’s plan to launch a rival to Twitter. The Vegas Octagon arena, which hosts UFC fights, has been suggested as a venue.
Musk has appeared serious about fighting his nemesis, allegedly appealing earlier this month to former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov to help him train, but was reportedly turned down. Elon Musk’s mother tried to cancel the fight, asking people to stop encouraging her son to fight the Meta CEO.
