During a phone call, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi and the Chief of the Defense Staff of the British Armed Forces, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin discussed strengthening the air defense of Ukraine .
The relevant statement was made by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi on Telegram, reports a correspondent of Ukrinform.
“I briefed my colleague on the operational situation on the entire front line. The Bakhmut direction is the most difficult. Thanks to the titanic efforts of the Defense Forces, the situation is stabilizing,” Zaluzhnyi wrote.
The parties also discussed strengthening the air defense of Ukraine. They agreed to develop cooperation and maintain communication.
“I am grateful to Admiral Sir Tony Radakin for his support. With the help of the partners, we are holding on and will definitely achieve victory,” Zaluzhnyi concluded.
