The 2022 season is going well for the New York Jets, a team that hasn’t been a playoff contender in 11 seasons.
However, while the Jets are 6-3 and look like playoff contenders, they also have some disturbing news.
It comes from their starting quarterback, Zach Wilson.
So what’s so concerning about their starting quarterback in 2022?
NFL Insider Tweets Inconvenient stats for Jets QB
When teams pressure Wilson, he’s the worst quarterback in the NFL.
NFL insider Dov Kleiman posted a tweet showing how much pressure the Jets quarterback is under.
#Jets Zach Wilson is the worst QB under pressure in the NFL, and it’s not close.
The Jets win, but the QB position doesn’t really help.

He is dead last in QBR, completion percentage and touchdown to interception ratio when under pressure.
He also notes that the New England Patriots, who the Jets face on Sunday, are third in rushing percentage against quarterbacks.
With that information, it’s easy to see how Wilson will have a tough game against the Patriots.
However, it also shows how it’s the Jets’ defense that helps the team win games.
It also shows that if the Jets had a better quarterback under pressure, they could be better than their 6-3 record.
While this is just a guess, it’s something to consider when looking at the Jets’ overall performance this season.
But if Wilson is to change that worrying statistic, he needs to make better decisions when under pressure.
While it’s easy to say that, it can happen if the Jets put him through drills to improve those stats.
Until they do with the young quarterback, he will continue to make costly mistakes that could hurt their playoff chances.
