The Leicester City midfielder is interested in Arsenal, although no formal offers have emerged so far this summer.
Tielemans has just a year left to complete his contract at the King Power Stadium and Rodgers has previously admitted the club need to sell before they can buy after a frustrating transfer window.
Leicester are the only club in Europe’s top seven divisions not to sign this summer and will host Brentford on Sunday in the first game of their Premier League campaign.
Tottenham and Manchester United have also been touted as landing spots for Tielemans, who moved from Monaco to the East Midlands in the summer of 2019 after initially being loaned out in January.
In 2021, the Belgium international scored the goal to win the club their first-ever FA Cup against Chelsea, but he looks set to leave Leicester this summer or next when he becomes a free agent.
Speaking after a pre-season win over Sevilla, Rodgers said: “There is this possibility [Tielemans could leave] but there was nothing for him, we have not yet had any representations with the club on this subject.
“Of course, it’s in the back of his mind, this kind of hypothetical scenario, but he doesn’t want anything to drag on either.”
