Kylian Mbappe may not be involved in the Champions League final, but that hasn’t stopped him from being talked about in Paris.
The French star has been the biggest talking point in football in recent weeks following his high-profile contract situation which has marked him as one of the game’s most in-demand players.
With his contract due to expire this summer, Real Madrid were very interested in moving the 23-year-old as they look to bring him to the Santiago Bernabeu.
It looked like a move seemed likely for the French striker, but a late contract offer from Paris Saint-Germain sealed the deal that would keep Mbappe at his current club for another three years.
It has been strongly suggested that under his new deal, Mbappe will earn £1m-a-week, pocket a £127m signing bonus and a larger percentage of his image rights.
While the matter is settled and dusted off for Mbappe and PSG, Madrid fans are not yet ready to move on.
Supporters in the Spanish capital descended on Paris for the Champions League final with Liverpool – a game you can follow on talkSPORT tonight.
Besides being clearly up for the challenge of facing Jurgen Klopp, they have made their feelings known regarding Mbappe’s decision to stay put.

With one supporter clear to point out the lack of Champions League trophies in Mbappe’s cabinet, another saying the striker will ‘regret’ not moving to Madrid, it’s clear the sentiment towards the player is not not really graceful.
The same can be said for Simon Jordan, who has called the terms of his contract with PSG ‘absurd’.
He told talkSPORT: “His new contract is an absurd outrage. The case is an obscenity. The level of funding is obscene.
“If this is to be believed, I think the deal is an obscenity. The level of funding is obscene and why I disagree with Tebas, the bottom line is that PSG and their motives are not the right ones. for soccer.
“It’s unbelievable that they seem to be circumventing Financial Fair Play the way they appear to be and I’m appalled that they’re able to go wild with football because it’s not about organic football growth. , it’s about the fabricated destruction of football through finance and changing regimes.
“Going to Mbappe, you can’t blame the kid for taking that money. If people are stupid enough to give him a £100m signing bonus, £1m a week and god knows what else, that’s offensive in itself.
“Then if you start moving into this ridiculous territory where a player – a PLAYER – is going to tell you or get an idea who he plays for, who the manager works for and who he signs for.
“It’s absurd, it’s obscene, it’s absurd and it can only happen at a club like PSG.”
