The Red Devils have made a great start to the season and find themselves at the top of the Premier League table.

The latest victory came on Saturday as new signing Cristiano Ronaldo inspired them to a 4-1 win over Newcastle, with the Portuguese star grabbing a brace in the process.

As Swiss champions Young Boys hope to surprise in Group F’s opener, it will be up to Ole Gunnar Solksjaer to make sure they don’t underestimate their opponent.

Young Boys vs Man United: kick-off date and time

This Champions League clash is due to take place on Tuesday, September 14 at the Wankdorf Stadium in Bern, Switzerland.

Kick-off is at 5:45 p.m. UK time.

This will be a chance for United to get their Champions League group stage campaign off to a good start.

Young Boys vs Man United: team news

The Young Boys will be without Fabrian Lustenberger and Joel Monteiro, while Jordan Lefort and Esteban Petignat are also skeptical.

But the biggest blow will be the absence of Jean-Pierre Nsame who has been the club’s star striker in recent years.

As for United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a big decision to make regarding Ronaldo’s involvement.

The Portuguese star made his debut against Newcastle this weekend but a decision will have to be made as to whether he will be risky in the Champions League.

Elsewhere, Edinson Cavani and Fred will push for a comeback after missing the clash with the Magpies.

Alex Telles, Marcus Rashford and Phil Jones remain long-term absentees, while Scott McTominay could return to the account for this one.
