‘You still owe me a million’ – Jake Paul offers $5M fight bet between Anderson Silva and Dana White after proving UFC boss wrong in Ben Askren fight

Jake Paul is so confident he’ll beat Anderson Silva next month that he’s willing to back himself to the tune of $5 million.

The 5-0 (4 KO) YouTuber-turned-boxer will meet the MMA icon in an eight-round, 187-pound bout in Phoenix, Arizona on October 29 as he seeks to silence doubters of his combat references.

One of his biggest doubters has always been the UFC president who suggested he would bet $1 million on Ben Askren to beat Paul in their fight in March 2021.

“I hope you can bet on this thing because I’m going to bet a million dollars he loses this fuckin’ fight. A million dollars he loses this fight,” White said.

Paul stopped Askren inside a round a month later before beating former UFC champion Tyron Woodley in back-to-back bouts, knocking him out cold in their December 2021 rematch.

A year later, ‘The Problem Child’ still thinks White owes him money for the Askren fight, but that hasn’t stopped him from trying to bet $5 million with the 53-year-old. years on his last fight.

“Nobody thought I would take this fight, even Dana White didn’t think I would take this fight,” Paul said at a press conference ahead of his fight with Silva.

“And Dana, I know you’re watching, bro. You still owe me a million dollars since you bet against me on Ben Askren.

“I want you to come out of hiding, stop being ab**** and make a bet against me and Anderson and actually pay this time because you didn’t think I would take this fight.

“So let’s make a bet. Let’s put a mil, two mil, five mil on it. But I bet you won’t Dana, because you’re ab****.

Silva is a huge step up from the competition Paul has faced so far in his boxing career.

“The Spider” is one of the most decorated UFC fighters of all time and actually has experience in striking unlike anyone the 25-year-old has ever fought.

Despite being 47, Silva has been enjoying a career upswing since leaving the UFC in 2020.

The Brazilian has picked up three wins inside the squared circle, including upsetting former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in June 2021.

He will be confident of continuing his impressive run by becoming the first man to beat Paul when they face off at the Gila River Arena next month.
