Yorkshire vs Leicestershire – Highlights & Stats

Jonny Bairstow has given England a potential injury scare T20 set to smash a stunning 112 from 51 balls to tack the Yorkshire Vikings to a 94 point victory over Worcestershire Rapids.

England’s opener followed the scores of 82 and 67 in their previous two games by scoring 10 sixes and seven limits as the Vikings hit 216-6 at bat first.

But he needed a runner for the second half of his heats after suffering an ankle injury. He was able to continue the strapping after a long delay but could not keep the wicket.

The injury could be a concern for England ahead of the T20 Series against Sri Lanka, which begins on June 23.

Tom Kohler-Cadmore added 53 of 33 balls for Yorkshire and Harry Brook also contributed with 22 of 12, after Bairstow was sacked by Charlie Morris.

Ben Dwarshuis was the bowlers pick with 4-31 of his four overs.

Rapids lost Brett D’Oliveira in the opener, but captain Moeen Ali hit 39 of 29 balls to move the pursuit forward before being caught by Adil Rashid.

Rashid then took Riki Wessels (32) behind before Rapids collapsed as they lost five wickets for three races.

Jake Libby, Ed Bernard, Ben Dwarshuis and Ish Sodhi were all sacked for ducks and the sleeves were quickly closed as the Vikings secured a convincing victory.

Matt Milnes took five wickets as leaders of the South group Kent spitfire beat Glamorgan by 40 strokes.

Kent was limited to 144-7 at first at bat, with Jordan Cox (32 *) and Sam Billings (30) leading the scoring.

The total turned out to be more than enough as Glamorgan’s response was hampered by the loss of regular wickets.

Marnus Labuschagne (22) and Colin Ingram (17) were both grabbed and pushed around by Milnes, and the tail offered little resistance except for 24 from James Weighell.
