Albert Pujols wasted no time getting the St. Louis Cardinals and their fans to love him again.
Sure, they never stopped loving him, but when he hit his first home run since returning to the Cards last night against the Kansas City Royals, it was almost as if he had never left Saint-Louis in the first place.
When Pujols returned to the dugout after trotting around the bases, he had a friend waiting for him.
Future Hall of Fame catcher Yadier Molina was on leave, with replacement catcher Andrew Knizner getting off to a rare start.
But when Pujols approached Molina, the two shook hands before giving each other a bear hug.

Pujols and Molina form the perfect couple.
They are the best friend duo we need in this world and it’s good to see something embracing and acting like the time that happened while Pujols was in LA didn’t even happen. not produced.
Pujols often refers to Molina as his “little brother” and last night we got to see these two brothers pick up where they left off when Pujols left St. Louis.
These two are truly brothers.
Not biologically of course, but their friendship still permeates the entire city of St. Louis and everyone in baseball.
2022 is going to be the last year in the big leagues for both of them and both are going to make sure they enjoy every moment of it, just like Cardinals fans.
The message is simple.
Find the Yadier Molina at your Albert Pujols.
These two are the gold standard of best friends and will become legends in St. Louis and in the game of baseball as a whole.
