Wriddhiman Saha has been embroiled in controversy around the game as he shared screenshots of social media posts where a journalist was seen threatening him for refusing to give an interview. Saha said he revealed all the details about the journalist to a BCCI committee investigating the case.

Indian cricket has recently been shrouded in controversy after veteran Indian wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha shared screenshots of social media posts where a reporter was seen threatening him for refusing to give an interview. In a new development regarding the matter, Saha said he revealed all the details to the BCCI committee set up to look into the matter. A three-member committee met with Saha in New Delhi to investigate the matter. Saha said he revealed all the details to BCCI.

“I told the committee everything I know. I shared all the details with them. I can’t tell you much at the moment. BCCI asked me not to talk about the meeting at the ‘outside as they will answer all your questions,’ Saha told reporters after appearing before the committee in New Delhi.

The problem started when he was dropped for the series against Sri Lanka and the team management informed him that he would no longer be considered for future matches. Also, late in the evening, Boria Majumdar in a Twitter video identified himself as the one accused by Saha in his message screenshots. He claimed the chats had been doctored and also said he was going to file a libel suit against Saha.
