HARVEST, Ala. (WHNT) – Horns and sirens blaring in Harvest, Ala. Saturday was for a very special anniversary. John A. Drake celebrated his 104th birthday with family, friends and members of the local community.
Harvest Fire and Rescue led a parade of Harvest Elementary School cars through the city. Anniversary supporters decorated their cars with posters and balloons.
“We’ve been grateful for 104 years,” said Robert Drake, son of John Drake. “We are once again grateful for so many people who came out and shared this day with us.”
