According to HPD, on February 21 at around 8:00 p.m., a woman was watering plants outside her apartment in the 8100 block of Bellaire when she was approached by three armed men.

The woman told police that as she tried to rush into her apartment, the suspects chased her and one of them punched her in the back of the head.

The woman continued to run to her apartment and, once inside, attempted to hide in the bathroom. At that moment, a suspect kicked the door open.

Another resident, who was already inside the apartment, was also struck by one of the suspects, knocking her unconscious momentarily.

The suspects searched the apartment, removing valuables, then fled the scene in a white Lexus SUV.
