MIAMI (CBSMiami) – An investigation is underway in Miami Shores on Monday after a 45-year-old woman was killed in a shootout involving police.
Earlier today, Chopper4 was at the scene at 68 NW 95 Street, where a yellow tarp could be seen near the end of a driveway in front of a house.

According to a family member, the police shot and killed Etianna Planellas. The family said Planellas owned this house, where she lived with her mother.

They also told CBS4’s Jessica Vallejo that she was a sweet and much loved woman.
It is still not clear how it all unfolded, but a neighbor said he heard several gunshots.
