Wolves shut out Stockton Heat to take 3-0 lead in AHL Western Conference final

STOCKTON, CA (CBS) – The Chicago Wolves are set to sweep after a shutout in Game 3 of their AHL Western Conference Finals series with the Stockton Heat.

The game was scoreless at the end of the second. With less than 45 seconds left in the period, former Blackhawk Richard Panik got Wolves involved.

Wolves scored again in the third and Stefan Noesen scored another goal with an empty net, the AHL reported.

Wolves won 3-0.
