Wolves even rebound for Calder Cup finals against Springfield Thunderbirds

ROSEMONT, Ill. (SCS) – Chicago Wolves bounced back in Game 2 of the Calder Cup Final on Monday night after a tough overtime loss in Game 1.
The Wolves scored four goals in the first 11 minutes against the Massachusetts Springfield Thunderbirds.
Josh Levio scored two goals. Forwards Richard Panik, Spencer Smallman and Andrew Poturalski, along with defender and Homer Glen native Joey Keane, each scored a goal.
Wolves ended the series with a 6-2 win.
“We were just working harder,” Wolves head coach Ryan Warsofsky told the team’s website. “I played harder. I played more within our structure. More details on our play. Our power play clicked again and that’s obviously important. Definitely a better start and more consistent play , It’s certain.”
They left for Massachusetts for the next three games. Game 3 will take place on Wednesday evening.
