Win a million dollar Illinois lottery ticket sold in Bridgeview – NBC Chicago

A lottery player who bought a ticket in the southern suburb of Bridgeview won the $1 million Lucky Day Lotto jackpot on Thursday night, state lottery officials announced.

But the lucky winner has yet to show up.

The Circle K gas station located at 7050 S. Harlem Ave. sold the winning ticket, which matched the five numbers in Thursday night’s Lucky Day Lotto draw: 2-5-6-10-13.

“We are all thrilled and shocked that our store sold a winning million dollar ticket,” Circle K Director Eva Adames said in a press release. “I’ve run this store for four years and it’s the biggest jackpot we’ve ever had – it’s very exciting.”

For the sale of the winning ticket, Circle K will receive a bonus of $10,000, which equals 1% of the prize amount.

In addition to the $1 million jackpot, over 37,000 other prizes ranging from $1 to $200 were won in Thursday’s Lucky Day Lotto draw.

The jackpot winner has one year from the date of the draw to come forward.

Winners are encouraged to visit the Illinois Lottery website to find out how to claim their prizes.
