Wigglesworth and Walters will join Borthwick coaching staff in England | England rugby union team

England have signed two more coaches from Leicester as Steve Borthwick continues to build his management team.

On the day it was confirmed that Richard Cockerill would step down at the end of the Six Nations to join Montpellier, the Rugby Football Union announced the appointment of interim Tigers coach Richard Wigglesworth and Aled Walters.

Wigglesworth joins as assistant coach, most likely overseeing the offense currently led by Nick Evans, while Walters will become head of strength and conditioning following the departure of Jon Clarke.

Both men will join the English outfit at the end of the season.

This brings the number of managers withdrawn from Premiership champions Leicester to four with Borthwick and his number two Kevin Sinfield also prized away from Welford Road.
