Even the best bowlers can have a bad day on occasion and things can go wrong for them. Obed McCoy had such a bad day with his bad luck as he conceded 66 runs in his four overs and also attempted a slow bouncer that had everyone laughing, including the batter and the umpire.
After taking a 2-1 lead in the T20I series against West Indies, India also started with flying colors against the hosts in game four. West Indies invited the visitors to strike first and India stuck to their striking pattern with attacking intent. The Indian batters didn’t shy away from playing big shots and especially Obed McCoy got into trouble as they dodged a lot of runs from his bowling.
McCoy picked a few wickets, but he also conceded 66 runs during his spell. Plus, his failed attempt at a slower bouncer in the penultimate produced a fun moment. Axar Patel was facing the sixth delivery of the 19th by McCoy and he went for a variation of pace to fool the batter. However, his delivery was in the wrong place and he made a very wide delivery. Both the batter and the umpire were seen casually laughing after the pitch was released.
