Don’t expect an invite to the Braverman family reunion.

The Braverman saga, including Sarah (Lawrence Graham), Adam (Peter Krause), Croby (Dax Shepard), Christina (Monique Potter) and Julie (Erika Christensen)—starred on all six seasons of the beloved NBC drama Kinshipwhich ran from 2010 to 2015.

Sam Jägerwho played Julia’s husband, Joel Graham, on the show, is warning fans that a potential reboot or reunion might not make much sense because – spoiler alert! – Patriarch Zeek of Braverman (Craig T Nelsonlisten)) died in the series finale.

“I don’t know what a Kinship the show is like without Craig T., you know?” Sam exclusively told E! News. “It was a necessary end to our show.”

Sam, who currently plays US government agent Mark Tuello on Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale and recently starred in Netflix Devil in Ohiosaid any discussion of a potential reboot is firmly in the hands of Kinship Creator Jason Katims.

If the occasion Is arise, Sam teased that a certain film from 2014 spanning decades could potentially serve as inspiration.

“When we left the show, Childhoodthe movie of [Richard] link later had just come out,” Sam said, “and [Jason] thought, ‘Well, maybe that’s what we’re doing. We come back every 10 years and see what the Bravermans do.'”
