Which companies do not do business with Russia? – NBC Chicago

Hundreds of Western companies have reduced or completely ceased their activities in Russia since the invasion of Ukraine.

Shortly after the invasion, Yale management professor Jeffrey Sonnenfeld and a team of researchers began compiling a list of companies operating in Russia and the status of their operations.

Boards were quick to use the list to keep tabs on actions taken by other big companies, Sonnenfeld said.

“Our list made a big difference in that CEOs wanted to do the right thing,” Sonnenfeld told CNBC in an interview. “They kept telling me they were looking for affirmation from others.”

As one company after another said in recent days that it was leaving Russia or suspending operations, “it had a snowball effect,” he said.

Below is the current list of the current position of major companies.

The list is compiled by Jeffrey Sonnenfeld and his research team at the Yale Chief Executive Leadership Institute. The list is updated every hour.
