Teams across the country will be aiming for Carabao Cup glory this season as Manchester City look to make it FIVE in a row.

City won their fourth consecutive Carabao Cup crown last season with Aymeric Laporte scoring a late winner against Tottenham at Wembley.

Guardiola’s man City have won the Carabao Cup four years in a row

Pep Guardiola and co will be looking to win another trophy in February, but a multitude of clubs would like to end City’s dominance.

The third round takes center stage this week with the big guns of the Premier League entering the tournament.

We have a lot of action coming before we can start thinking about the finale, but fans can jot down the date of the flagship match.

Carabao Cup Final: Date and time

As always, the Carabao Cup is the first major national competition to end in England.

This year’s final will take place at Wembley Stadium and take place on Sunday February 27.

Kick-off time has yet to be confirmed but will likely be 4:30 p.m.

Carabao Cup final: UECL qualification

The Carabao Cup winner will qualify for the UEFA Europa Conference League next season.

As City won the cup last season and had already secured Champions League football, the spot was given to the next highest-ranked team that had not qualified for a European tournament.

Tottenham have claimed the spot in the UECL premiere this quarter.
