What SEP bridges will there be in June 2023

The last leg of the school year 2022-2023 will start in a few days and both parents and basic education students want to know if there will be bridges or non-working days during the month of June; however, it will be of vital importance to take into account that the Ministry of Public Education (SEP) did changes inside of the calendar which he published during 2022.

The modifications were carried out days before the classes began, since originally it was planned to carry out a Intensive Continuous Training Workshop for Teachers, which was intended to last for a full week without classes, being that it would be taught from June 5 to 9 to all preschool, primary and secondary staff.

In such a way that parents or guardians who have planned to do some type of family activity during that period of time, will have to change their plans since it will no longer be possible to carry them out, since the Intensive Workshop was postponed and the students will have classes that week.

Therefore, the only non-business day the one that the children will have will be the next June 30thbecause as the last Friday of the month, a School Technical Council Boardthat is, that students will have a long weekend.

In addition, during the month of July the Intensive Continuing Training Workshop for Teachers with the presence of students, which would last two weeks, that is, from July 3 to 14, also had to be cancelled.

It should be remembered that as of July 19, the 2022-2023 school year will be terminated. Despite these modifications, the next long weekend that students expect is Friday, May 26, since the monthly meeting of the School Technical Council (CTE) will take place.

The CTE is a meeting held by teachers and school managers every end of the month with the main objective of reviewing issues related to the educational works. Therefore, the bridge will begin on Friday, May 26, covering Saturday the 27th and Sunday the 28th of the same month.

First of all, they concluded thatThe end of classes would be next July 19 and not until the 26th of the same month as had been foreseen in the first instance. Also, it was decided that the Intensive Continuing Training Workshop without the presence of students would be postponed.

Said workshop was held from July 20 to 26, likewise, the two weeks of the workshop that would be offered to students in the period from July 3 to 14 of this year were eliminated. Despite the fact that the minors will finish their classes on July 19, the teachers will continue working until the 26th of the same month, the date that became official to end the school year.

The new school calendar of the SEP indicates the 19th day of the seventh month of the year with a blue color, indicating the end of the 2022-2023 school year. From that moment the students will have the opportunity to enjoy and plan their respective summer vacations of the year.

According to the schedule of dates of the educational authorities, the delivery of tickets of student grades will take place between July 14 and 19However, teachers will continue to attend schools until the 26th of the same month.
