Osip Juranovic has admitted his excitement at the prospect of a move to Atletico Madrid this summer – as there is talk of a move to Chelsea.
Thomas Tuchel is keen on a new right-back and the Celtic defender has been linked with a move for around £15million.
Atletico and Manchester United are also said to be in contention at 90 minutes and it appears to be the Spanish giants Juranovic has the most interest in signing for.
“I was hoping there was something, but honestly I didn’t ask the manager for anything,” he told RTL last month.
“I didn’t care, but again, I have to stay firmly on the ground. It was Atletico Madrid after all, but I’m at the big Celtic.
A move to Old Trafford wouldn’t sit well with Juranovic, it seems, as the 23-year-old Croatian is eagerly awaiting his Champions League run with Celtic.
“To finish, [I’m looking forward to] the Champions League, feeling that music, that anthem and finally playing there,” he added.
