West Ham and England star Declan Rice sings “Rice, Rice baby” to thousands in latest Twitter craze

A young man from Manchester with the username @ jacobbmc2 created a Twitter space called #singyourdialect which saw big names like Barack Obama, John Cena and even the Somali Embassy in Turkey join in as people were encouraged to sing a song of their choice in their local accent.

With the space attracting thousands of social media users, Rice has joined in to deliver a rendition of West Ham’s song “Rice, Rice baby” to the tune of “Ice, Ice baby” by Vanilla Ice.

The 22-year-old is a popular figure for club and country on and off the pitch, in part thanks to his active social media presence to complement his excellent performances.

With Aaron Ramsdale also joining in the last few days, it’s certainly worth watching if any other top names choose to follow in Rice’s footsteps.
