We no longer say “Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls”

The far left’s campaign to control culture through language has spread to “the happiest place on earth”.

In a leaked video from Disney’s ‘Reimagine Tomorrow’ summit, Vivian Ware, Disney’s head of ‘diversity and inclusion’, can be seen telling employees that the company no longer refers to customers as “ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls” to appease transgender guests. The City Journal’s Christopher Rufo first reported the story on Tuesday and posted a series of video clips from the summit on his Twitter account.

“Last year, last summer, we removed all gendered greetings in relation to our live spiels. So we no longer say ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. We trained – we trained all of our cast members on this, so now they know it’s “Hello, everyone” or “Hello, friends,” Ware said.

She added that the company is changing recorded messages from “ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls” to “dreamers of all ages” and noted that the alignment of language with the dogma of “gender identity “Left can make Disney “inclusive” and “magical and memorable for everyone.”

And we don’t want to just assume because someone might, in our interpretation, present themselves as a woman, that they might not want to be called “princess.” So let’s think differently about how we really engage with our guests in a meaningful and inclusive way that makes it magical and memorable for everyone,” she said.

Another excerpt from the leaked video shows high-level employees openly discuss the company’s efforts to include more LGBTQ+ content in its ever-growing library. Executive producer Latoya Raveneau explained how the company has been very welcoming of its “not at all secret gay agenda,” adding that she’s encouraged to add “queerness” wherever she can.

“Nobody wanted to stop me and nobody was trying to stop me,” she said.

Another video posted by Christopher Rufo featured Disney President Karey Burke speaking as “a mother of two gay children – a transgender child and a pansexual child.” Burke spoke of the company’s desire to include more “queer tracks” in its creative content.

Disney has increasingly shown its allegiance to LGBTQ+ activists in recent years. For example, in 2021, Disney+ held an LGBTQ Pride concert aimed at children and featuring drag queen Nina West, with performances of popular Disney songs that were reimagined with LGBTQ themes. The company also recognized Pride Month by highlighting LGBTQ-themed programming. The streaming service launched the short film The little Princess) about a gender nonconforming child. As reported by Breitbart News, the new comedy series big shotsstarring John Stamos, featured a lesbian kiss between high school characters.

Just last week, Disney CEO Bob Chapel groveled at his woke employees, saying the company should have condemned Florida’s parental rights in education bill. . Chapel also said the company would create a “task force” to “develop action plans to create more LGBT content for kids and family.” the wall street journal reported. The bill, which Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) signed into law on Monday, notably blocks the teaching of sexuality and “gender identity” to students in kindergarten through third grade.
