Watch Queen Elizabeth II’s return to the movies with a fan-favorite friend

The most valuable tea of all time.

Queen Elizabeth II showed off her impressive acting skills alongside Paddington Bear in an adorable new video.

In the clip, the monarch and the beloved English character meet for afternoon tea at Buckingham Palace in London.

“Maybe you’d like a marmalade sandwich,” offers the CGI bear, voiced by the actor Ben Wishaw– as he pulls one out of his hat. “I always keep one for emergencies.”

“Me too,” remarks the Queen as she pulls her own sandwich out of her trusty purse. “I’m saving mine here, for later.”

This is not Her Majesty’s first twist. She appeared previously with Daniel Craig as James Bond in a video shown during the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics.

The Queen and Paddington’s pre-recorded skit was played for attendees of the BBC’s Party at the Palace concert outside Buckingham Palace, as part of the 96-year Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
