Watch – MTG rep pops Biden’s balloon: ‘It belongs to China!’

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) says the “first thing” Americans should talk about is the Chinese surveillance balloon that recently made a multi-day trip across the country before the Biden administration ordered the army to bring it down.
Greene opened up about President Joe Biden’s ball handling as she held her own ball during an interview with Breitbart News ahead of the President’s State of the Union on Tuesday.
Greene said, “It’s just a white balloon, everyone,” adding, “Joe Biden is not afraid of balloons. In fact, he allowed the Chinese to bring a spy balloon across the United States. last week.
The balloon, which first came to public attention last week after a photographer spotted it hovering over Billings, Montana, entered US airspace days earlier. Jan. 28, near the Aleutian Islands, a senior Pentagon official said at a Saturday press briefing after the military downed the balloon.
“It’s really interesting,” Greene said. “I think everyone should know that the Pentagon, the Department of Defense, the President of the United States knew that China was bringing a spy balloon to our country on January 28. Then they allowed it to enter our airspace. They allowed him to traverse the entire United States, spy on multiple military bases with critical infrastructure, gather as much information as they needed until he left the country, then they shot down the spy balloon.
The senior defense official said Saturday the Pentagon was “confident” the balloon had indeed made an unprecedented journey across the country and specifically passed through sensitive areas, including military installations, but said the Pentagon “had taken all necessary measures” to prevent the Chinese government, led by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), from collecting sensitive data.
Greene said, “You know, everyone is talking about economics these days, but let me tell you what the American people are talking about. They talk about the Chinese spy balloon and how our president has done nothing about it.
The defense official had defended the Biden administration’s decision to wait to bring the ball down, saying the president was looking to ‘avoid undue risk to civilians and so we’ve developed an option to get it out on top water, and that’s what we did”.
Amid reports the balloon saga led Biden to rewrite parts of his State of the Union that touched on China, a top opponent of the United States, Greene claimed Biden would struggle to take n any tone that defies the communist-ruled country.
“Let’s be real, what tone can Biden take on China? It belongs to China! We know Hunter Biden. We are aware of his business connections. We know this involved Joe’s positions of power going all the way back to Vice President. Who knows what has happened since he became president. … What Joe Biden should do is apologize to America this week and tell Americans that he will take a tough stance on China because China will take a tough stance on the United States.
Greene, who won a seat on the House Oversight Committee this Congress, will play a role in the Biden probe as the panel investigates the extent of Biden’s alleged involvement in overseas business dealings. of his son Hunter.
“I think Americans are right when they tell me, ‘Marjorie, we’re terrified of what happened. The president has completely let us down,’ and I totally agree with them,” Greene said. “I think that’s the first thing we should talk about.”
Greene said she hoped to get the ball, which she carried around Congress all day Tuesday, to the State of the Union, but doubted security would allow her into the chamber of the House with.
