That’s what dreams are made of.
Hilary Duf let the rain fall by doing a delicious encore of his iconic anti-gay bullying ad from 2008 in a new TikTok. And helping him recreate the beloved clip, were pentatonix singer Scott Hoing and his bride, Marc Manio.
The September 22 video uses original audio from the public service announcement which features two teenagers trying on tops in a clothing store and using the word “gay” in a derogatory manner, Lizzie McGuire intervenes to educate the couple.
“Do you like this top?” Scott lip-syncs at the start of the clip, with Mark responding, “That’s so gay. Yeah, that’s totally gay.”
That’s when Hilary interrupts the duet at school.
“You know, you really shouldn’t say that,” she said. “To say something is gay when you mean it’s bad is insulting.”
