Israeli Economy and Industry Minister Nir Barkat has warned Iran that his country is ready to “go to the head of the snake” amid fears that the conflict between Hamas and Tel Aviv does not turn into a regional war grow.
As clashes between Hezbollah and Israel continue on the country’s northern border, Barkat said Tel Aviv was prepared not only to make the terrorist group and Lebanon pay a heavy price if it thought they were opening a northern front, but also to “attack the Iranian leaders”.
Speaking to the Mail on Sunday, the Israeli minister said: “Iran’s plan is to attack Israel on all fronts. If we find that they intend to target Israel, we will not only retaliate on these fronts, but we will go to the head. of the serpent, which is Iran.
He added: “When will we do this? When we decide. Israel has a very clear message to our enemies. We say to them: look at what is happening in Gaza, you will receive the same treatment if you attack us .We will wipe you off the face of the Earth.”
