Wallace State to Host Flu Vaccination Clinics Next Week

HANCEVILLE, Alabama – Wallace State Community College will be hosting a series of flu shot clinics next week.

The clinics will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. from October 19 to 21 in room 200 of the School of Nursing and the College’s Science Center.

Flu shots are free for those who provide proof of insurance and $ 27.44 for those who do not. Payment can be made in cash or by check.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), flu shots are recommended for anyone 6 months and older, especially for people at higher risk of developing illness. This year’s flu shots protect against the four major strains of flu that have been found to be most common in the United States.
