Wales vs France LIVE! 2022 Six Nations Rugby Match Stream, Latest Score & Updates Today

While we wait for the kick off in Cardiff, why not check out the latest edition of Lawrence Dallaglio’s Evening Standard Rugby podcast?

This week’s guests are England women’s rugby ace Emily Scarratt, ES sports journalist Simon Collings, and Jez Denton, Saracens fan and host of The Fezcast.

Prediction Wales vs France

Wales are hugely lacking in experience, but still showed their fighting qualities against Scotland and England.

A Friday night clash under the lights of the Principality will be a real opportunity to savor and they hope the passionate crowd can help upend and derail France’s Grand Slam dreams.

However, Les Bleus look too good as things stand, combining brute strength with brilliant flair, cunning, ingenuity and a ruthless edge as well as formidable strength through depth.

Their usual meltdown doesn’t seem to be coming this time. Away win.

France wins, by at least eight points.

News from the French team: Dupont in good shape, Villière returns from injury

France make just one change from their 36-17 win over Scotland, with Toulon winger Gabin Villière set to return after a sinus fracture.

He replaces in-form Damian Penaud, who tested positive for Covid-19 earlier this week alongside lock Romain Taofifenua, also absent.

Luckily for France, they suffered no further cases of coronavirus.

Reigning World Player of the Year and bona fide superstar Antoine Dupont has been cleared to start tonight after an arm problem, which will be a huge relief for Fabien Galthie and Co.

Wales squad news: Four changes after England defeat

Wales made four changes following their two-half performance against England at Twickenham.

Seb Davies and Josh Navidi, in fine form, enter a new back row to join the resurgent Taulupe Faletau, with Ross Moriarty on the bench and Taine Basham dropped from the squad.

Gareth Thomas is a loose lead on Wyn Jones, with Nick Tompkins out after suffering a concussion on club duty for Saracens against Leicester last weekend.

The very experienced Jonathan Davies takes his place alongside Owen Watkin in the centers.

Welcome to the Wales vs France LIVE coverage!

Good evening and welcome to Standard Sport’s latest LIVE coverage of the 2022 Six Nations!

Round four begins with a Friday night showdown under the lights of a still atmospheric stadium in the Principality of Cardiff.

Ruthless pre-tournament favorites France have won only once at this ground in the last 12 years but are heavy favorites to triumph tonight and move just one win away from a first Grand Slam since 2010.

Injury-plagued defending champion Wales will be hoping to build on the determination and desire shown in the second half at Twickenham a fortnight ago when they rallied from 17-0 down to nearly beat England. England with three tries in the second half, only to fall terribly short in a thrilling finish.

Stay tuned for all the build-up to tonight’s game, the latest team news and live updates, with kick-off scheduled for 8pm GMT.
