Leaked Instagram stories, viral tweets and a solo sting operation are just some of the things at play in the ongoing UK libel case between Coleen Rooney and Rebecca Vardythe wives of two prominent British football stars.
On May 10, the so-called Wagatha Christie case officially went to trial in the High Court in London, almost two years after Rebekah, 40, first sued Coleen, 36, for defamation in June 2020.
In a witness statement on May 13, Coleen said she was “happy to have put an end” to Rebekah leaking other people’s private information to the press after she caught the soccer campaigner “betraying” her “violence” in flagrante delicto. -describes “the sting operation.”
