Police in Prince William County, Virginia say a man has been charged with repeatedly raping an underage family member.
Kevin Dean Rice, 50, of Bristow, turned himself in to police on Wednesday after detectives from the Special Victims Office and Child Protective Services announced an investigation into the sexual assaults days earlier, a reported FOX 5.
The alleged assaults took place in the Bristow area between December 2012 and October 2019, and police have identified Rice as a suspect in the assaults. Bristow is located approximately 40 miles from Washington, D.C.
The victim was under 13 at the time, police said.

Rice is being held without bond and faces multiple charges related to the offenses. The charges include five counts of rape, four counts of indecent liberty and two counts of forced sodomy.
Authorities have not disclosed the specific relationship between Rice and the victim.
