“It was crazy”

Kyle Massey was leaving the mall with his 10-year-old daughter and was stopped at a traffic light.

“I looked to my right and saw six, seven bulls or something, and I thought they were just walking around the parking lot with the (rodeo) people,” he told WBZ-TV.

“Then I noticed they were getting closer, so I said to my daughter, ‘I think they’re on the loose,’ even though I still didn’t really believe it, because it was pretty unbelievable. So I started recording.”

“They ran across the street, dodged all these cars, went into the parking lot and ended up going into the woods,” Massey said. “The cops were chasing them. All the people who were running the scene ran across the street. It was crazy.”

Massey said he heard state police might be called because the bulls were headed toward the interstate.

Bulls captured 3 miles away

One bull was captured shortly after escaping. Six others were found trapped behind a fence outside a home about three miles away on Prescott Street in Attleboro around 4:30 p.m.

“A bull is believed to still be on the loose. Community members should use extreme caution and not approach the bull if they find it. If they find it, community members should call 9-1-1,” the fire department said in a statement.

“No additional information is available at this time,” a North Attleboro police spokesperson told WBZ in an email.
