“I’m so obsessed with her,” the actor exclaimed on his talk show Thursday when Hendrix made an appearance.

Hendrix told the star she promised to move to New York City when she visited when she was 4.

As it turned out, the Big Apple needed a tiny life. Hendrix got a micro-studio in trendy West Village for $ 1,345 a month. While the Tennessee freelance writer has mastered her space, she still allows, “It’s a pretty crazy experience.”

Hendrix’s TikTok visit to her dig went viral in May after she moved in, and she showed off her apartment in Thursday’s episode while offering advice. Much of her advice focused on turning her clothes and shoes into decorations to take advantage of the wall space. For example, she has a hanging display of her handbags.

“Use your vertical real estate to the best of your ability,” she said on the show.

Hendrix, who also pursues interests in fashion and theater, told HuffPost on Friday that the talk show segment instantly increased its Instagram and TikTok followers.

“Some people still don’t know why I chose to live in such a small space, but a few people also contacted me were impressed with what I was able to do with this space,” she said. “And it always feels good, because I worked hard to settle in my home and make my dreams come true in New York!”

“Anyone with a tight budget and big dreams can understand my desire to live small,” she added. “It’s by no means a perfect setup, but it gives me the magic of Manhattan, the opportunity to live and grow on my own, and a price I can afford.”
