Top-tier universities USC and UCLA are reportedly seeking Big Ten Conference spots as early as 2024.

The move of the two Pac-12 schools has yet to be finalized by the NCAA.

The Big Ten is the oldest Division I athletic conference in the United States that was once made up of schools only in the Midwest. Now the conference spans from the Great Plains region to the Atlantic Ocean.

Big Ten schools include the universities of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Wisconsin, as well as Michigan State, Northeast West, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue and Rutgers.
