US trade deficit narrowed slightly in February

The US trade deficit narrowed slightly in February, shrinking 0.1% for the month but remaining near a record high as both exports and imports soared on the eve of war in Ukraine.

The deficit on trade in goods and services fell to seasonally adjusted $89.19 billion in February, the Commerce Department said Tuesday, from a gap of $89.23 billion in January, which was the monthly record for all time for trading gap.
