US, Israel say they explore ‘plan B’ for Iran

US, EU and Israel take tough tone on Iran, consider options

WASHINGTON / PARIS (Reuters) – US, Israeli and EU officials took a hard line on Iran on Wednesday, with US officials saying they would consider all options if Tehran did not renew the 2015 nuclear deal and Israel declaring that he reserved the right to act. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has so far refused to resume indirect talks with the United States in Vienna on both sides reverting to respect for the deal, under which Iran has limited its nuclear program in exchange for a easing of economic sanctions.
