SEOUL, Nov 21 (Reuters) – The U.S. aircraft carrier Carl Vinson arrived at a port in the South Korean city of Busan on Tuesday, as part of a display of extended deterrence against South Korea’s nuclear and missile programs. North, the South Korean navy said.

The arrival comes as North Korea plans to launch a rocket carrying a space satellite between November 22 and December 1 towards the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea, according to the Japanese coast guard.
