United Airlines delays the return of some Boeing 777s until May

WASHINGTON, April 8 (Reuters)United Airlines UAL.O confirmed on Friday that it had delayed the return of some grounded Boeings TO PROHIBIT 777 aircraft with Pratt & Whitney RTX.N 4000 engines until at least May 12.

An engine on a United Airlines 777 plane failed shortly after takeoff from Denver in February 2021, dumping debris on nearby towns, but no one was injured and the plane returned safely to the airport.
