In Ukraine’s Kherson region, there were two deaths and six injuries due to intense shelling in 24 hours, as Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the regional military administration, reported on Facebook.
“Yesterday the enemy launched 1,000 attacks, firing 474 mortar shells, artillery, Grad rockets, tanks, drones and aircraft, as well as 12 shells aimed at the city of Kherson,” Prokudin wrote . He also mentioned that the Russian army had targeted populated areas in the region and a school.
In the evening, Russian forces opened fire from the temporarily occupied left bank of the Dnipro, targeting coastal districts, as reported by Roman Mrochko, head of the military administration of the city of Kherson. “There are explosions on the Kherson coast.
