At the same time, he noted that Russian troops continue to actively use artillery in the Bakhmut and Lyman-Kupyansk directions. In particular, 191 and 395 strikes, respectively, were registered in these directions today.
The spokesman noted that Ukraine needed missile and artillery superiority to win.
“The longer range, more powerful and more accurate the weapon, the greater the advantage. This gives the opportunity to hit enemy command posts and clusters, their logistics, fuel depots and artillery,” Cherevaty said.
As noted, in recent weeks Russian troops have mostly fired artillery in the Lyman-Kupyansk direction.
