Ukrainian Air Force launched eight strikes on enemy groups | ukraine news

In the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Air Force launched eight strikes against Russian military personnel and equipment. The Ukrainian army also destroyed an enemy Su-25 aircraft.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, reports a correspondent of Ukrinform.

In addition, Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit a Russian command post, three groups of enemy military personnel and equipment, two radar stations, an electronic warfare system and an air defense missile system in position shooting.

According to the General Staff, despite huge losses, Russian troops continue to carry out offensive actions in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka and Shakhtarsk directions.

Since the Russian military is unable to defeat the Ukrainian Defense Forces, Russia is terrorizing civilians, opening fire on peaceful settlements in violation of international humanitarian law.

Over the past day, Russian troops have launched three missile strikes (namely, on civilian infrastructure in the city of Kharkiv), 26 airstrikes and opened fire with Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (MLRS) more 23 times.

The threat of Russian missile strikes persists throughout Ukraine.

In the Volyn, Polissia, Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the situation remained rather unchanged. No enemy offensive group was detected. Russian soldiers undergo military training at the Belarusian training grounds. Enemy units remain deployed in border areas.

Over the past day, Russian invaders have opened fire on Khrinivka in the Chernihiv region; Atunske, Volfyne, Stepne, Kindrativka, Pokrovka and Hrabovske in the Sumy region; and Strilecha, Krasne, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Bochkove, Budarky, Ambarne and Kolodiazne from the Kharkiv region.

In the directions of Kupyansk and Lyman, the Russian occupiers continue their attempts to break through the defense of the Ukrainian forces. The enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions near Bilohorivka and Spirne. The Russian invaders launched artillery strikes near Dvorichna, Hrianykivka, Kupiansk and Krokhmalne in the Kharkiv region; Novoselivske, Nevske, Dibrova and Bilohorivka from the Lugansk region; and Kolodiazi, Siversk, Spirne and Fedorivka of the Donetsk region.

In the direction of Bakhmut, Russian troops continue to storm the city of Bakhmut. Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy attacks near Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Bohdanivka.

In the Avdiivka, Marinka and Shakhtarsk directions, the Russian invaders carried out unsuccessful offensive actions near Stepove, Kamianka, Sieverne, Marinka and Vuhledar.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the Russian occupiers held the defense. The enemy opened fire on settlements near the line of contact, namely Olhivske, Malynivka, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmashka, Novodanylivka and Tokarivka, Antonivka and Kherson in the Kherson region.

Following Ukraine’s effective strikes on enemy groups on March 12-13, 2023, resulting in huge casualties, the Russian invaders are tightening control measures in some settlements in the temporarily occupied areas of the Kherson region. They usually travel in civilian cars seized from local residents. On March 14, 2023, a convoy of Russians was seen heading towards temporarily occupied Crimea with looted goods.

In another settlement in the Kherson region, the Russian occupiers are implementing “counter-sabotage measures”. Justifying their actions, they accuse the villagers of having killed a Russian soldier, whose body was found.
